Pain Relief For Toothache

In this blog post I just wanted to share some advice with regards to toothache during the current lockdown.  If you are struggling with toothache here are a few things that can help

1- Sensitivity if you are getting sensitivity to cold then this could be a result of the nerve within the tooth being sensitized one of the things that can be used for this is Sensodyne toothpaste or GC tooth Mousse both can be purchased from most pharmacies or Amazon.  The best way to use these is to rub them into the sensitive area after brushing and then do not rinse afterward.

2- Painkillers – The most common painkillers to use for toothache are the ones available over the counter which include paracetamol and Ibuprofen, these are available from the pharmacy but please speak to the pharmacist to make sure you can take them and the correct dosage. Using painkillers should only be a temporary measure and should consult with your dentist as soon as you can.

I hope that helps a little please stay safe
