Lifestyle Dental Gets Featured on B1G1
As you may be aware Lifestyle Dental is working together with B1G1 to help give and as a result we have had a featured article. Here is the article printed in full below
What brings a brighter, whiter smile to patients at Lifestyle Dental (www.lifestyledental.co.uk) in Fulwood, England? It starts with the expert consultation provided by Dr. Nadim Majid and his team, of course. But along with every Oral Health assessment they do, 100 people gain access to clean water for a day through B1G1, and that little gift can make their patients’ new smiles seem even brighter!
“We got involved with B1G1 because we wanted to give back,” Nadim says, “and we also believe in living up to our social responsibility as a business. Every aspect of our lives is, in a sense, a vote for the kind of world we want to live in.”
Nadim’s popular dental practice near Preston gives people the confidence to smile by providing dental implants, braces, teeth whitening and veneers through something called ‘Transformative Dentistry’. They’re also determined to transform the developing world at the same time. As a proud B1G1 business, Lifestyle Dental has been providing water to people in Africa for years.
“We support giving water to people in Malawi,” Nadim told us, “and we’ve given over 400 people water in a day and more. We chose the donation of water because it’s so essential in the developing countries. We tend to take it for granted here.”
Married to a teacher and a father of twins, Nadim’s friends say he is friendly, passionate, and determined. He’s also managed to build a team around him who share his passion for giving back. Sophie Timmins, Karen Jane Hogg, and Jade Gray encourage patients to improve themselves with proper dental care and a more confident smile. Judging by the testimonials provided by patients, their determination and positive outlook is infectious.
Many of them walked into Lifestyle Dental concerned about the process and even scared of visiting the dentist, but they found a friendly place that would eventually change their lives, and help to change others.
Dr. Majid summed it up for us: “Every day we have the opportunity to make a positive impact — no matter how great or how small. When we have given the patient the B1G1 certificate and explained the process, everyone says ‘wow’ and it was so unexpected.”
Like visiting the dentist and finding out there’s nothing to be afraid of after all.
