Veneers make a huge change to a smile and even to a persons face. Have had a few people asking what is involved and how they work
veneers are a porcelain covering on the surface of a tooth. They can be used to change the dimension, and shape of a tooth and even change the colour of a tooth and if several are done they can change the smile completely
How long do they last – veneers can last up to 10-15 years and in some cases even longer dependant upon how well they are looked after and maintained.
How are they made and what is involved? – a initial visit to consult and assess the smile and give you the best options and design the smile based on your preferences. Once this is completed then this can then be replicated in the mouth.

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010we recently had treated a few people who were suffering from nack and back problems as well as headaches they had treatment in the form of massages and physio etc although still seemed to get issues. on further assesment this type of pain can sometimes be related to the way your teeth fit together or what is termed the bite or occlusion.
In certain situations if you have had several fillings and dental work done at different times this can make the bite different and if your an individual who is very sensitive to these small changes then this can result in changes in the way the mouth is held and can then result in pain in certain muscles which are overworked.
