Another Testimonial …….

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

I started treatment in June

I searched for Lifestyle Dental on the internet because I was unhappy with my smile and my teeth as they were crooked and twisted.

The service here has been brilliant

My first impressions of Lifestyle Dental was that it was not like a dental practice it was clean very friendly and a very friendly team.

NowI am more confident about smiling and showing my teeth. I wanted to do this fro myself.

I think the biggest benefit of this is I feel more confident I have already recommended Lifestyle Dental to a friend

Paul Sergeant – had the inman aligner to straighten the front teeth

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

This is one of the quotes often heard it originates from Phyllis Diller, the American actress, .

so what impact does a smile have

1, Can improve your confidence people who generally smile more are deemed more confident in meetings and social gatherings

2, Make you feel good – when you smile certain chemicals are released which actually make you feel good

3, Can make others feel good – smiling is contagious  smile at someone and in most cases they will smile back

so what to do if you dont have the right smile? -

well perhaps tooth whitening – to achieved a little brighter smile, or how about achieving straighter teeth with an invisible brace .

Before and After Veneers

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

I found out about Lifestyle Dental through the Website and I came in because it was the closet clinic. I was unhappy with my teeth and I did not smile. When I did smile I didn’t show my teeth. I have had some veneers done and now when I smile I show all my teeth and am very happy.

My friends and family all like my new smile.

Dental Veneers

Monday, April 27th, 2009

The demand for the dental veneer has seen a steady increase recent years. A growing number of people have had this procedure done to improve their smile. To keep up with demand for veneers, more and more practices have begun extending this service to patients and we at lifestyle dental continue to do so . At lifestyle dental we also provide finance options to allow you to spread the investment in this type of cosmetic dentistry over a period of months or even years so you can get that simile and for a price you can afford.

Some of the questions we get asked about veneers

So what are veneers?

Dental veneers are a thin sheet of porcelain or a composite material fabricated to fit over a your existing teeth. The composite variation of dental veneers is often available more inexpensively since composite veneers can be made in the practice. Porcelain veneers are much more durable and thus have a greater lifespan.

SO how long do veneers last ?

Dental veneers are reported to last for ten years or more.

oral hygiene is an important factor in the longevity of the veneers.

What can veneers be used for ?

Veneers can be used for, tooth gaps, discoloration, and fractued teeth or chipped teeth can be quickly disguised with dental veneers.

Can anyone have veneers?

You may not need veneers to achieve that perfect smile. A thorough examination of your teeth before making any procedure is always required. there are alternative procedures which could achieve the same results and be far less destructive for example tooth whitening or cosmetic contouring or aligner

What happens after I have had veneers?

Once the veneer procedure is complete, it is your responsibility to maintain the new smile, together with advice from your dentist. This includes regular brushing and flossing. Regular dental appointments for checkups and cleanings also need to be maintained.

What are the benefits of veneers?

Veneers do have a number of favorable characteristics for example they are stain-resistant and they are virtually carefree if maintained well (see above)

What does the procedure involve ?

You would need attend a few dental visits before veneers can be fitted. a dental lab is usually involved where the veneers are fabricated.
