Are Dental X- rays Safe ?

Are they safe?

Dental x-rays produce a low level of radiation and are safe. We take necessary precautions to limit the exposure to radiation when taking dental x-rays, including using modern, fast film that cuts down the exposure time of each x-ray. Most of our x-rays are taken digitally, which further decreases the exposure to radiation.

We are all exposed to natural radiation in our environment. The amount of radiation exposure from a full mouth series of x-rays is equal to the amount a person receives in a single day from natural sources.

Dr. Majid is trained in hypnosis, sedation for nervous people, dental implants as well as braces. He lives in Lancashire with his two children (twins) and his wife who is a teacher. Dr. Majid has always and will continue to be focused on producing top quality services that his patients have come to expect and appreciate.
