Recently completed a smile with six month smile braces this was under six months and a great result
I originally didn’t get my teeth straightened as I was concerned that I would have to wear an old fashioned “Train Track” style of brace which would be quite embarrassing particularly in my job which is customer facing. I was also concerned about the cost but after my initial consultation I realised the cost of straight teeth was actually very reasonable and that times have certainly changed and there are different options available. I was amazed to find the treatment would only be for 6 months (which actually turned out to be less)
Now my teeth are straight I find I am smiling a lot more, in photos I am happy to give a big cheesy smile and I feel confident and happy with my overall appearance.
I was most pleased with the fact I could have a removable brace as it meant if I had a special event to attend I could remove the brace. Also the treatment time was very speedy as I certainly did not imagine my teeth would be straight in four months.
The Three benefits of the Inman Aligner would be the treatment time was short, getting appointments was easy, and the finished results, which has left me with a more confident smile.
I would recommend Lifestyle Dental because I have a hectic life as I work shifts and live half the time down south and half the time in the north of UK yet they managed to fit me in. The staff are professional and friendly and I have every confidence in their ability. Finally I was offered a great service at a reasonable price with a payment options and so they are definitely worthy of a glowing recommendation
I am getting married in October and will no longer worry about the photos. I would like to thank Nadim and the team because now I know I will have the biggest smile there!

thanks Clare and we wish you all the best for your wedding day
Quite a few school leavers and friends have been asking about the roles of a dentist and what is involved so is this blog post have attempted to outline the main roles.
The dentist has many responsibilities and duties towards his patients and the public in general. He has to be dedicated to his profession. The primary thing a dentist does is provide oral care. This includes providing preventive care in the form of patient education on tooth, gum, and mouth, while a dentist typically does not conduct the routine cleaning that their patients receive. This is the job of the dental hygienist. At Lifestyle dental we examine the teeth, gums and mouth as well as performing a variety of dental procedures including.
Responsibilities of a Dentist
The responsibility of a dentist extends to the dental profession. In Preston, this is outlined by The General Dental Association’s Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct. This code primarily works to guide dentists to uphold a certain level of trust, accuracy, authority, and responsibility to their patients. Additionally, like medical doctors (GPs), dentists are required to comply with continuing education requirements imposed by their professional regulation bodies. The professional responsibilities are the responsibilities of a dentist that pertain to his role as health care provider to the public.
A dentist, also takes the primary resposibility in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and conditions of the oral cavity. The dentist’s supporting team aides in providing oral health services. His dental team includes dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and in some states, dental therapists. He can also prescribe medications such as antibiotics, fluorides, pain killers, sedatives and any other medication that serve in the treatment of the various conditions that arise in the head and neck. He has to be a qualified doctor holding a medical degree to do so.
Professional Treatment
By nature of their general training, a dentist can carry out the majority of dental treatments such as dental restorations, crowns, bridges, orthodontics braces, prosthetic dentures, endodontic root canal therapy, periodontal gum therapy, and extraction of teeth, as well as performing examinations, taking radiographs, x-rays and diagnosis. Dentists need to take additional qualifications or training to carry out more complex procedures such as General anesthesia, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and implants. Sometimes conditions in the oral cavity may be indicative of systemic diseases such as osteoporosis, diabetes, or cancer.
While many oral diseases are unique and self limiting, poor conditions in the oral cavity can lead to poor general health and vice versa. Thus a dentist has to specialize in certain special fields.
So I hope that helps if you would like to know more have a look at the related articles below
We have had a few people ask what can they expect when they go for a brace system such as the six month smiles
well firstly the six month smiles braces us a very unique system which can straighten teeth within six months the brace system consists of clear brackets and also a tooth coloured wires here is a video to show what they look like
Here is a number of things to remember once they are fitted
1, You do have to be careful as to what you eat as with any brace system that involves brackets food especially stick food such as toffee and chewing gum can get stuck to the brackets so best to avoid these
2, Also hard food may have to be broken down into smaller sections to eat
3, It will take longer to eat initially
4, There will be a little bit of discomfort to begin with in the first 48 hours although most people have found that this can be managed with simple painkillers
5, You must really brush thoroughly more than before, we provide specialised kits when you have the brackets fitted because the chances of developing decay increase
